The first pulsar was discovered in 1967, when British astrophysicist Jocelyn Bell Burnell noticed a strange radio signal flashing about once every 1.33 seconds from a distant region of outer space. Burnell and her colleagues were mystified at first, briefly considering the possibility that this was a transmission from an alien civilization – but they soon realized that they had actually found a swiftly rotating neutron star, which they named CP-1919. The pulsar became part of music history 12 years later, when post-punk pioneers Joy Division used a graph of CP-1919’s signal for the cover of their debut album, Unknown Pleasures. We LOVE girls who love perfume.. who love leopard print and heels and jean jackets, and iced cream and bubblegum, fishnets and ripped t-shirts, ripped sweaters, guitar riffs, rock n’ roll, punk, goth and everything in between. We love girls who love bottle upon bottle of perfume!
And so we have asked all the girls we know who love Cherry Bomb Killer Perfume to take photos of themselves and post them, for it is these girls ( and yes, boys too) who know style… who know what we’re all about!
Thank you, Cherry Bomb Pin -Ups, for lending your beautiful faces to this line! We LOVE YOU! XOXOXOXOOXOXOXOXOOXOOX
We Cherry bomb girls, Alexis & Maria, are beyond excited to have been invited into that realm of fun forward fashion…that house of girl friendly accessories and terribly cute skirts ( Come on, you know you love it!) Yes. Urban Outfitters. Cherry Bomb Killer Perfume’s new home! Well. online at least….for now! So until we hit the Urban “floor” running in our stilettos, we ask you all to check out the online site- where a girl can find her dream dress-sparkling in just the right places.. and of course her dream perfume! A little glam, a little punk and a whole lotta’ Rock & Roll xox
Maria and I were at the Cherry Bomb Studio today when Aza appeared in a amazing Guess dress and silver jacket. We dropped our bottles of perfume and ran to the beach nearby ( yes, in NYC!) and WOW what awesome shots of our beautiful pin-up!
Maria and I ( Alexis) LOVE leopard print! I mean really love… like give us leopard print coats, boots, purses! You name it we have it. And we ask ourselves why leopard? Is it because of the famed, glamourous images of starlets of the 1950’s sporting this print like Bettie Page in the photo above?
Wearing it makes us feel a bit dangerous, a bit sexy, a bit daring. Maybe it brings out the inner cat within-seductive, sassy, ready to pounce. So this is our ode to leopard print, and the mystery of the pattern that turns heads and makes us feel special.
This is for all the Rockabilly and Pin-Up girls. This small store carries the most adorable, tight as a glove dresses that make all the girls of all sizes look totally va va voom sexy! It’s a Cherry Bomb favorite for sure. x
